Darkness and Problems: Just a Matter of Absence

Darkness does not have an independent existence; it is merely the absence of light. When we enter a dark room, we do not try to remove the darkness; instead, we light a lamp, and the darkness disappears on its own. Similarly, problems in life do not have a solid existence either; they simply indicate the absence of solutions. When faced with a problem, instead of feeling discouraged, we should focus on discovering new ideas and solutions.

The True Meaning of a Problem

When we call a situation a “problem,” what we truly mean is that we have not yet found the right solution. Just as a mathematical problem seems difficult until we learn the correct method to solve it, life’s challenges also seem complicated until we find the right approach.

If we observe closely, all great discoveries and inventions in the world were made to solve some problem. Electricity was invented to eliminate darkness, the telephone was created to solve long-distance communication issues, and the internet made access to information easier.

A New Perspective on Problems

If we allow problems to dominate us, they can weaken us. However, if we treat them as opportunities to generate new ideas, they can make us stronger. Every challenge gives us the chance to think, understand, and innovate.

So, whenever you face difficulties in life, do not see them as problems but as opportunities to find solutions. Just as light eliminates darkness, new ideas and perspectives help us overcome problems. Solutions are always around us; we just need to see and understand them.
